- Places have soul. If a smoker walks into a room that nobody has ever smoked a ciggarette, he wont smoke one either. It’s the same with this bunker. I know that even though it is a military installation, nothing bad has happened here, and it is a good place to live.

I think we have met in the middle. I have tried to live in
different places, but I have ended up here in ¦winouj¶cie-not
so friendly place. I have felt that somewhere near I can find
something exciting. And four years ago I did. I was walking around
the bunker with its submerged in water and wondering-what do I need
this for? But I couldn’t turn back. I have felt this is the place.
I have started many times from scratch, so I started from scratch one more time..."
When Mr. Zielinski started his efforts to obtain the bunker
city officials were surprised. However, the president took a risk.
He leased the bunker to Mr. Zielinski for 30 years. Now, people from
all of Poland come here. People who come for a minute stay for an
hour, and people who come for an hour don't want to leave.
The singers came because of count Jacek Nierzychowski
author of gentry's cook books. Later, after a few concerts
in the courtyard they just started coming by themselfes. Lately
guitaryst and a well renown bluesman Izba Izbiński has played there.
Maciej Kuroń came to the bunker also. First he almost burned down the
kitchen, and than he tried some of the food prepared by a close friend
of Tadeusz - Bożenę, and now he comes just to try some of her new creations.
